So, two months on the driveway and still no camping. Well, not yet anyway.
We brought Towed Haul home in May but with the pressure of work we've done little more than sit in her up until now. Yes, we've re-equipped her, cleaned her and tested all the systems; she's even been pressed into service as an exam marking annex, with great success, too, but no movement as yet. I did manage to break one of the propane tank valves but I was able to get a local firm to fit a new one, and to get the other tank and valve properly tested and working, so all our propane powered facilities are up and running. All is not lost, though, because we are heading north to Collingwood, Ontario, soon, without tadpoles and hound, so that is well worth looking forward to. Certainly, the trip is business rather than pleasure, but any time spent camping is time well spent. Other things have entered the family calendar of late so the only other trip we actually have planned is to Columbus in Ohio in August. That said, I'm sure we'll squeeze a few days in at the campground before school reconvenes. Watch this space for updates and Instagram.
